Trade Frequently Asked Questions

Do your prices include VAT?

Our prices do include VAT. When ordering you will receive an emailed VAT receipt for your records.

Is my copyright protected when I send my images to you?

Yes, you still maintain all copyright ownership of the images and your images are never used by us or passed on to 3rd party companies. We keep the images on our server to make it easier for you to reorder and browse the imagebank. You can remove these images at any time.

Can I send my own invoices with each order?

Yes it is possible to send individual invoices with your orders. All you need to do is to upload the invoice in the order process, and add it to the relevant order.

What resolution should I set my images at?

The best resolution to set your images at is between 72 – 150dpi. The image will be printed onto the canvas at 720dpi.

What File Types do you accept?

Our website can accept the jpeg file format. Although JPGs are a compressed format we have done extensive testing and on textured canvas you can see no difference between a printed jpg and a non compressed format.

What is the maximum file size you can receive?

The maximum file size that we can receive online is 30mb. If you have larger files you are more than welcome to send them via ftp or by post

Do you colour match?

Whilst we try our very best to colour match every photo we cannot be held responsible for exact colour matching requirements. Colours may appear differently on your computer screen than ours (due to contrast, hue settings on your monitor) and we will not accept returns for colour related issues. You can though be assured that all of our monitors and printers a re regularly calibrated using Gretag Macbeth Eye-One colouromiters.

If exact colour matching is important then we suggest contacting us to discuss test samples, we can also send you our ICC profile, so that you can soft proof your images.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver stretched canvases to the UK and Ireland.

How do I know when my canvas has been sent to me?

As standard to most UK postcodes we will have your canvas with you within 2 working days (Mon-Fri) of receiving an order. You will receive an email from us when your canvas has been dispatched with tracking details.

Does someone have to be in at the delivery address?

As your canvas will arrive by courier we do require that someone is there to sign for the parcel so please make sure that there is someone in at the delivery address. If you are not in the courier firm will attempt delivery again the following day. After this attempt the canvases are returned to us and we will charge an additional postage fee to resend the canvas back to you or your customer.

How much does delivery cost?

Our standard postage price is £9.99 per order going to the same address. If any canvas is 40 inches or larger then the postage cost is £15.99. Please note that the postage price is per order and not per canvas so if you order 4 20inch x 32inch canvases the postage is still only £9.99.

How are the canvases packed?

All our canvases are first wrapped in bubble wrap and then packaged within double strength cardboard. This is significantly better than the standard card wrapping and ensures that your canvas arrives in pristene condition.

Can you deliver on a weekend?

We currently only send items for delivery Monday-Friday.
